The Lair is in the process of securing a permanent liquor license. While we wait on that, any events happening at The Lair will be non-alcoholic until further notice. We will update you here once we have any new updates to provide.

The Lair is in the process of securing a permanent liquor license. In the past, we only were licensed for specific events. Now, we will have the flexibility to sell alcohol at any event. We will update you here once we have an update on when liquor service will resume.
Update - May 8, 2025
We are approximately 80% of the way there. We have a fire alarm system to install & 2 fire doors and then we will be ready for final inspection. Thanks for your patience and continued support!

Our Mission
Our hall is a designated safe space for the LGBTQ+ community and people of all backgrounds and neighbourhoods. We lift up people all of all kinds as we strive to make Toronto a kinder and more loving place - one day at a time.
Who runs programming here?
A wide variety of community groups, charities, individuals and companies create and run programming at The Lair. From workshops, to dances, to charity fundraisers and private events, The Lair is home to some of Toronto's most vibrant queer experiences.
